The companies of Polish scythe-bearing peasant recruits will go to the
attempt again? They went. In September '39!
... As scythe-bearing peasant recruits we had many sallies into German positions. This way rifles and an ammunition were get. We spread excruciating panic amongst the invading Germans which very much were afraid of our night attacks. We got even a name from them - "Black Devils" when we ran them through forest. This way Alojzy Tuszyński is describing those events...
/... Scythes are droning on in the meadow, they are buzzing, they are jangling, Reapers are in a hurry, because they already feel the enemy... /

And now to learn a little history, for which perhaps you didn't have the chance: In the battle of Jaworów - Sądowa Wisznia (14th - 16th of September) elite German Waffen SS motorized regiment "Germania" and also some units from other divisions - most probably 1st or 2nd Mountain, 5th Panzer or other - or some disposal units of Corps (XXII or VIII) or 14. Army - were totally crushed by the Poles (elements of 38. and 11. Infantry Divisions from Operational Group "Southern"): During the battle of Jaworów - Sądowa Wisznia "Germania" lost all of its heavy equipment, big part of small arms, hundreds of men - and was crushed and dispersed. Fifth column on the road... Preparations for recordings of the next album has began. "V Column" – such title will be have the newest Grimlord album. V kolumna
will release probably with late summer and the album will contain
seven or eleven new songs. Recording session will be held at "Sonic Loft Studio". In next project
Grimlord individually and intensively will be defending of countrymen before the evil,
mainly before soviet and german agrgessors Grimlord won't be hiding the aversion for damage and the theft
of the Polish culture by invader and their proceedings towards Poland.
Taking out topics and historical motifs of dusty drawers concerning
our country. Grimlord won't only be seeking justice but also he will impose a penalty on oppressors with the use of own instruments. |
